Connor Ogden Connor started a work placement at Carrs Pasties each Tuesday where he ‘carved’ a job for himself, making up and labelling the boxes of pasties to be delivered all over the country. Connor has now achieved paid part time employment at Carrs. Connor also works as a volunteer at Bolton Hospice every Thursday; he has been doing this for over 4 years. Connor has a fantastic work ethic and is a very reliable member of staff. Amazing job Connor, what an achievement! |
Kane Snow Kane had a working interview at ASDA which was very successful. He had a day's taster in different departments to see which job he enjoyed the most followed by an intensive placement in his chosen department - Porter. Kane excelled on his placement and was offered two days a week permanent paid employment. Well done Kane! |
Callum Stevenson Callum completed a successful voluntary placement with Age UK. He continues to work at Brazley Community Centre two days a week. Callum uses his strength of communicating with others to talk to the clients. In addition, he demonstrated chair based exercises and is a regular bingo compere. Keep up the excellent work Callum! |
Jack Sharrat Jack started his employment journey in the 6th form at Rumworth School where he worked in the bistro as part of his curriculum offer. He learned new skills and excelled in this area. Once he left Rumworth, he wanted to work in Catering and was offered a work placement. Whilst attending LifeBridge ASEND, Jack continued to make great progress and now has 3 days PAID employment as a Kitchen Assistant in Rumworth Canteen. Great commitment Jack! |
